RESEARCH GROUPS

It is a multidisciplinary group made up of eight professionals with complementary profiles, covering the fields of epidemiology, biostatistics and mathematical programming, health management and medical and nursing clinical practice. Most of its members are located in the methodology unit of Navarrabiomed, and the rest belong to the Navarra Health System and the Public University of Navarra. They carry out research focused on providing knowledge in the study of chronic diseases within the framework of Real World Data (RWD), evaluating the influence of socio-demographic, clinical and health care factors on the evolution of patients based on information from the Electronic Health Record. We include the perspective of socio-economic inequalities and also research in the field of care.

Research Lines

The group works in different lines of research within the characterisation of chronicity and performance evaluation, and also within the study of effectiveness and cost-effectiveness in the care of chronic patients.
