Research lines


Task 1. To identify and analyse the experiences, needs, preferences and associated utilities from the perspective of the public/patients/carers during the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of their illnesses, or when they seek to improve their well-being.

Task 2. To identify patient-relevant outcomes from the perspective of the public/patients and other stakeholders for the evaluation of PCC, SDM and self-management interventions.

Task 1. Co-design and evaluation of strategies and methodological guidelines to facilitate the involvement of patients, caregivers, citizens, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders in health services research and implementation of strategies, policies and interventions.

Task 2. Evaluation of the impact of stakeholder involvement on research processes, ethics and inclusiveness, stakeholder empowerment, quality of evidence and uptake of products.

Task 1. To identify and co-design strategies and interventions for PCC and SDM aimed at patients, citizens, caregivers and healthcare professionals.

Task 2. To evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the strategies and interventions that promote PCC and SDM in PHC and in care continuity processes.
