Research lines

Line 1 Design, translate and validate tools from the perspective of the patient (utilities, preferences, patient reported outcomes measures (PROMS), patient reported experiences measures (PREMS) and empowerment) and the clinical setting (clinimetry), taking into account gender perspective. Close collaboration with WP6, WP7 and WP12.

Task 1. To design or translate and validate tools from the patients’ perspective or clinical setting in fragile patients, elderly, chronic, or acute conditions.

Line 2 Development of prediction rules, risk stratification methods, events simulation techniques, adaptation or development of methodologies to improve adjustment and decision making in different scenarios, taking into account the patients’ and gender perspective. Close collaboration with WP4, WP8 and WP13.

Task 1. To develop, validate and compare prediction models to identify different events in chronic and acute diseases, and in decompensations of chronic diseases.

Task 2. To develop, validate and compare risk stratification, classification methods and time series analysis for health policy interventions diseases.

Line 3 Development of qualitative and mixed research methods and guidelines useful for research on primary care, chronic diseases and health promotion, taking into account the patients’ and gender perspective. Close collaboration with WP1, WP9 and WP12.

Task 1. To develop, implement and disseminate qualitative and mixed methods.
