Line 1 To design, translate and validate tools from the patient perspective (utilities, preferences, patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) and empowerment) and from the clinical setting (clinimetrics).
Task 1. To design or translate and validate tools from the patient’s perspective and the clinical setting in frail, older, and chronic patients, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, hip or knee osteoarthritis, depression, Parkinson’s disease, COVID-19, breast cancer, chronic kidney disease and cardiovascular disease.
Line 2 The development of prediction rules, risk stratification methods, event simulation techniques, adaptation or development of methodologies to improve calibration and decision-making in various scenarios.
Task 1. To develop, validate and compare prediction models to identify various events in chronic and acute diseases, and in decompensations of chronic diseases.
Task 2. To develop solutions to control confounding and detect or measure bias in clinical trials (experimental and real-world data).
Task 3. To develop, validate and compare the risk of the analysis.
Line 3 The development of qualitative and mixed research methods and useful guidelines for research into primary care, chronic diseases and health promotion.
