Research lines

Task 1. To identify the main risk factors for health problems in the general population and specific population groups in situations of high vulnerability in primary care.

Task 2. To analyse the effectiveness of combined strategies integrated into the practice of primary care to promote healthy lifestyles (mainly diet and physical activity) in the general population, promoting citizen participation in the process.
evaluate strategies to reduce the prevalence of alcohol consumption.

Task 3. To analyse the effectiveness of combined strategies integrated into the practice of primary care, taking into account the gender and aging perspective to promote healthy lifestyles in vulnerable population groups, such as chronic patients, elderly people with dementia, women with menopause, pregnant women and other groups with special vulnerability.

Task 1. To identify risk factors for addiction to tobacco, alcohol, internet, gambling and other addictions.

Task 2. To evaluate strategies to reduce the prevalence of smoking and alcohol consumption.

Task 3. To evaluate strategies to reduce the prevalence of gambling addiction and other addictions.

Task 1. To develop strategies, platforms and APPs to support the projects, aimed at health promotion and disease prevention.

Task 2. To protect intellectually and commercially the strategies and tools developed, by means of intellectual property registrations and/or patents.

Task 3. To transfer the strategies and/or tools developed for application in clinical practice in the national health system and transfer them to society in order to generate wealth.

Task 1. To identify the main risk factors for health problems and diseases of high prevalence in primary care.

Task 2. To evaluate non-pharmacological interventions to reduce risk factors, the incidence of diseases and prevalent health problems in primary care, as well as mortality.

Task 3. To evaluate pharmacological interventions to reduce risk factors, the incidence of diseases and prevalent health problems in primary care, as well as mortality.
