Research lines


Task 1. To identify the care needs of people in the different stages of life.

Task 2. To characterize the health needs of particularly vulnerable populations (dependent people, patients with mental health issues, older people and caregivers, children, migrants and other disadvantaged communities).

Task 1. To design and evaluate interventions and tools that promote self-care in maintaining or improving health and lifestyles.

Task 2. To design and evaluate interventions and tools that promote self-care in managing diseases.

Task 3. To design and evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of nursing interventions and tools in primary care to promote health and the prevention and treatment of chronic health conditions.

Task 1. Identification of nursing interventions for prevalent health problems that are likely to be candidates for implementation or elimination (low-value interventions) according to evidence-based recommendations and expert opinion of citizens and their caregivers.

Task 2. To design clinical pathways and implementation strategies in nursing interventions according to the environment of nursing practice and technology support in the primary care setting.

Task 3. Evaluate the effectiveness, cost-effectiveness and healthcare quality of nursing implementation interventions, considering process and outcome results to promote use, sustainability and scalability of evidence-based nursing interventions.
