Tasmania María Del Pino Sedeño
PhD in Psychology, Master’s Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, Master’s-level Specialist in the Evaluation of Medicines and Health Technologies within the Spanish National Health System (SNS), and Expert in Health Services and Chronic Diseases Research. She is a researcher at the Canarian Health Research Institute Foundation (FIISC), affiliated with the Evaluation Service of the Canarian Health Service (SESCS), where she works within the Knowledge Management group.
She is a researcher in the Spanish Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment and Services of the National Health System (RedETS), the Health Services Research in Chronic Diseases Network (REDISSEC), and the Primary Care Interventions to Promote Health and Healthy Behaviors Network (RICAPPS). She is also an Assistant Professor at the European University of the Canaries (UEC) and a research tutor for Family and Community Medicine residents. Her main work focuses on developing Health Technology Assessment (HTA) reports and Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Furthermore, she has participated in and led, as Principal Investigator, several regional and national competitive research projects funded by FIISC and the Carlos III Health Institute. She has also contributed to European Commission-funded projects such as Rare Best Practices and participates as a consortium member in the ERN:Guidelines European contract.
