Amaia Bilbao Gonzalez
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Public Health. She works as a methodologist and biostatistician for the Research and Innovation Unit of the Bilbao-Basurto Integrated Health Organization (OSI) in Osakidetza Basque Health Service, and is a professor of medicine at the University of Deusto. She is a member of the “Health Services Research” group at the Biosistemak Institute for Health Systems Research. She participated in numerous research projects, with over 200 published articles, 7.125 citations, and an h-index of 40. Her main areas of research include patient-reported outcomes (PROs), questionnaire validation and reduction, predictive models, and the use of real-world data (RWD). She was member of REDISSEC and currently leads the “Biosistemak-OSI Bilbao Basurto” group within RICAPPS and co-coordinates WP14 on “Development of methodologies for health services research” together with “Biosistemak-OSI Barrualde Galdakao” group.
