Javier Benito -
Javier Benito Fernández, is Head of the Paediatric Emergency Department at the University Hospital of Cruces, Osakidetza. He is Associate Professor of Paediatrics at the UPV. Adjunct Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Cincinnati. He is coordinator of the consolidated research group, `Research and new strategies to improve the care of children and adolescents in emergency situations' of the IIS Biobizkaia .President of the Spanish Society of Paediatric Emergency Medicine. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Paediatric Emergency Research Network (PERN) and past president of the Paediatric Section of the European Society of Emergency Medicine (EuSEM).
