RESEARCH GROUPS

Carolina Lapena Estella holds a PhD in Research Methodology and Public Health, is a specialist in family and community nursing, and is an anthropologist. She has been working as a primary care nurse since 2003. She has been the principal investigator (PI) of GERCS since 2015 and a member of DAP-CAT since 2022. Between 2012 and 2014, she was a member of the Expert Group for the Programme for the Prevention and Management of Chronic Conditions (PPAC). She is actively involved in numerous projects, ranging from the preparation and drafting of protocols to coordination, conducting fieldwork, data analysis, interpreting results and writing scientific articles.
