RESEARCH GROUPS

Mikel Baza Bueno (MBB) is a specialist in Family and Community Medicine and Head of the Primary Care Unit in Arrigorriaga, in the Integrated Health Organization (IHO) of Barrualde-Galdakao (Osakidetza). He has a master's degree in Primary Care Research. He is co-investigator in the Research Group on Dissemination and Implementation Sciences in Health Services at IIS Biobizkaia. He belongs to the Board of Directors of Osatzen and collaborates with the Research Group on Social Determinants of Health and Demographic Change - OPIK of the UPV. He also has extensive experience in the area of de-implementation of lowvalue pharmacological prescriptions, as he has participated in research projects evaluating interventions for the de-prescription of Benzodiazepines.
