Eduardo Millan Ortuondo
Eduardo Millán is a physician specialized in Preventive Medicine and Public Health who works in the Healthcare Division of the Basque Health Service (Osakidetza). He coordinates the population-based risk stratification process in the Basque Country, from data extraction through data transformation to the final results, which are transferred to the electronic health records. He leads the “Research on the Reuse of Clinical Practice Data” group at the Biosistemak Institute for Health Systems Research. He is a member of the group on Variations in Medical Practice in the National Health System (Atlas-VPM) and has been part of REDISSEC. Expert in clinical epidemiology, his research focuses on evaluating the quality of medical care and the use of real-world data (RWD) for the management and improvement of healthcare processes.
