Research lines

Task 1. To organise and run workshops to disseminate the fundamentals of implementation research among RICORS partners, in order to encourage implementation research and the generation of new implementation research projects to be conducted between 2022 and 2024.

Task 2. To carry out capacity-building and training activities to promote the use of specific research theories, models, theoretical frameworks and methodologies developed in the field of implementation science, and to cooperatively design and propose specific implementation research plans for projects arising in RICORS between 2022 and 2024.

Task 3. The development or adaptation of tools, materials and resources to guide and support the design, evaluation and submission of reports on current or new implementation research projects.

Task 4. To support new and ongoing research that promotes the transfer and scaling up of effective health interventions, using the theories, strategies and methodologies of implementation science arising in RICORS between 2022 and 2024.

Task 1. To promote the identification and prioritisation of best practices or problems in the quality of care that require implementation research, and the analysis of the causes and determinants of these problems and the processes required to resolve them, using theories, models, theoretical frameworks and methods developed within the field of implementation science.

Task 2. To scientifically design, based on relevant theories and the available evidence, the implementation and/or de-implementation strategies, hypothetically required and adequate to address the factors and causes that determine the systematic and widespread adoption of interventions of proven efficacy and the abandonment of low-value interventions.

Task 3. To evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of such implementation and/or de-implementation strategies, considering their impact on changes in clinical practice, their maintenance and sustainability, describing the fidelity of their execution and the factors associated with their correct implementation and the achievement of results.

Task 4. To improve the transfer and scale-up of best practices or evidence-based interventions at the level of healthcare systems, using strategies and methods that have proven effective in optimising clinical practice and its outcomes.
